We want everyone to have access and enjoy our beautiful world-famous beaches. Shoalhaven City Council, together with our participating community partners inc Surf Lifesaving South Coast Inc., have now FREE hire of beach wheelchairs.
Hire locations include:
Moona – Moona Creek and Lake Tabourie
Palm Beach Greville’s Corner Store
Beach wheelchairs are only designed for outdoor use, on the beach (on hard or soft sand), in low water, and on grass or surfaced roads. All sites have an adult size chair available for hire/use. Patrolled beach sites have both an adult and child size chair available for hire/use. If needed, chest straps must be provided by the hirer/user.
